Privacy policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Bee Tanpoh, based in Singapore and operating the Apevo brand (“Apevo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use the Apevo iOS application, visit apevo.app, or contact support.

The current version of the Apevo app does not require an account, include advertising trackers, or use third-party analytics. Your training and onboarding information is stored locally on your device.

2. Information stored by the app

Depending on the features you use, Apevo may store the following information locally on your device:

• Onboarding information such as age range, height, weight, fitness goals, experience, equipment, schedule, training preferences, and responses about training challenges.
• Workout information such as routines, exercises, sets, repetitions, weight, rest periods, workout notes, personal records, body-weight entries, and optional location labels that you type yourself.
• App preferences, rank progress, reminder settings, and recent activity.
• Subscription entitlement status supplied through Apple’s StoreKit framework.

This information is used on your device to provide plans, workout logging, progression guidance, history, reminders, and other app features. Apevo does not transmit this locally stored training information to our servers.

3. Subscriptions and Apple

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apevo uses StoreKit to request available products, initiate purchases, verify transactions, restore purchases, and determine whether an active Apevo Pro entitlement exists.

Apple handles your Apple Account and payment information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive your full payment-card details or Apple Account password.

4. Notifications

If you grant permission, Apevo schedules workout reminders locally through iOS. You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings. Apevo does not use push-notification tokens or a remote notification service in the current version.

5. Backup exports

Apevo lets you create a local backup file and choose where to share or save it. The file is not uploaded to us. Once you send a backup to another app, cloud-storage service, person, or device, that recipient’s privacy practices apply.

6. Support communications

If you email contact@apevo.app, we receive the information you include, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and maintain support records. Please do not send health information or other sensitive information that is not necessary for your request.

7. Website information

apevo.app is a static website. We do not place advertising cookies, use behavioral tracking, or run third-party analytics on the site. Our hosting, DNS, and security providers may process ordinary technical request information—such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested URL—to deliver and protect the site.

8. Retention and deletion

Training information remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app. Backup files remain wherever you choose to save them. Support messages are retained only as reasonably necessary to answer requests, keep support history, meet legal obligations, and protect the service.

Because Apevo does not currently operate user accounts or a server-side workout database, we generally do not possess a copy of your local training data to access, correct, or delete.

9. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited information to service providers that help operate our website or support email, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of the service.

10. Children’s privacy

Apevo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

11. Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure. Website and support providers may process technical or support information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Apevo changes. We will publish the revised policy here and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or App Store listing when appropriate.
